ABOUT Chiaki Kano
Chiaki Kano was born in Chiba, Japan in 1971 and based to Tokyo.Graduating from the Photography Course of the correspondence education at Kyoto University of the Arts.She has participated in numerous solo exhibitions and photographic projects, exhibiting her work in galleries and museums.While researching places with latent natural environments and historical backgrounds, she expresses intuitive thoughts about perception, vision, eternity and life, which she continues to photograph and present both nationally and internationally.In 2022, she signed a one-year contract with a contemporary gallery in Spain, participating in art fairs and group exhibitions.He currently continues to photography and produce works in Nagasaki, Japan and Poland.

京都芸術大学通信教育部芸術学部美術科写真コース卒業後、個展、写真プロジェクトなどに多数参加、ギャラリーや美術館などで作品を発表。自然環境や歴史的背景が潜む場所をリサーチし、知覚、視覚、永遠、生命についての直感的な思考を探求。国内外で撮影、発表を続ける。2022年には、スペインのコンテンポラリーギャラリーと一年間契約し、アートフェア、グループ展に参加。現在は、長崎とポーランドでの撮影と作品の制作を続ける。
